Jerome Bullard, Pastor:

Jerome is a people person. Jerome was born and raised in Columbus County, NC. He and his wife of more than 28 years reside in Delco, NC. They have two children, Jerome Jr. and Wesley. Wesley and his wife Heather have 4 children. He loves his family. Jerome was raised on a farm where he learned at an early age that responsibility and good work ethics were important. Before being called to preach, Jerome worked at International Paper Co. for more than 18 years.

Jerome's spiritual journey began at the age of 8, when he accepted Jesus into his heart as his Savior. He was later sanctified as a teenager and began working with teens at Crusader Youth Camp in Dunn, NC, at the age of 25. It was there that he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and was called to preach. Jerome began a 3 year process that included home-studies and an internship for Ministerial License through Heritage Bible College of the PFWB organization. Jerome's first pastorate was in Bladen County at Rowan PFWB Church we he and his wife Gwen served for 12 years. In May of 2006 God gave Jerome a vision to plant a church in the Leland area. With a vision of many souls, Bridge of Life Community Church was born! Jerome's passion is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to love and fellowship with all people. To help people Choose Christ, Cross barriers, and Connect with God's given purpose for their lives. Jerome desires to love Jesus with all his heart!

Gwen Bullard, Pastor's wife & Leader, Ladies of Life:

Gwen is the wife of Pastor Jerome. Saved at the age of 12, she began working with youth at 16 and continues that work today. After graduating from high school, she married Jerome and they started a family. She remained a stay at home mom until their youngest son was in middle school. Gwen then began college and became a Registered Nurse. For 5 years she worked in the area of Oncology and received certification in Oncology. Gwen worked with Hospice for 6 years as a liaison and currently does the same type of work for a private company. Gwen has been instrumental in helping Jerome plant and establish a new church. She is the Ladies of Life leader at BOLCC. She desires to see the women of BOLCC reach a new level of intimacy with God. Gwen wants everyone to know that Christ came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.

Becky Bullard, Worship Leader:

Becky has lived in the Delco, NC area all of her life. She attended elementary and high school at Wilmington Christian Academy. Her occupation is in the health and fitness industry and she has owned and operated her own health club, Flex Appeal Gym, located in Leland, NC, for more than 12 years. She is very passionate about helping people reach their health and fitness goals. When she is not at her health club she is traveling the country promoting the benefits of chewable nutrition (Chews-4-Health International). She purchased a business position with this company and is one of four Team Executives within the company. She has enjoyed her travels and being able to experience other parts of the country through this unique opportunity. She will also have the privilege of traveling to South Africa and the Philippians the latter part of 2010 with this opportunity.

Becky has been a part of the Bridge of Life Community Church since day one. She felt it as an honor to be one of the first four people to agree to help establish this wonderful church. Her brother, Pastor Jerome Bullard came to her in 2006 with something that God had laid upon his heart, and that was to start a church in the Leland, NC area. Her brother asked her if she would be willing to put together a praise band and be the praise and worship leader of what is now the Bridge of Life Community Church. Knowing she would have to step way out of her comfort zone and stand before a congregation, she agreed, because she knew it was the Lord's will. If you were to ask her about it today, she would say, "Stepping out of your comfort zone has great rewards, not only for you, but for every life that you come in contact with!"

Becky's desire is for everyone to experience the true unity, freedom of worship and love that we have here at the Bridge of Life community Church! She has loved music since she was a young child. Becky currently leads worship and plays acoustic guitar with the band. She thanks God everyday for the opportunity to be apart of this wonderful church!
